The Notebook is a personal publishing site, kept by an individual — not a company or business entity. It is entirely separate from any employer mentioned on the About orContact pages, which is named there only as part of the author's professional identity, never as the organisation behind this site.
Content ownership. Unless otherwise noted, the writing, photographs, and other material published here belong to the person who keeps The Notebook. You're welcome to read, link to, and share individual entries for personal, non-commercial purposes. Republishing whole entries elsewhere, or using the content commercially, isn't permitted without asking first.
Informational content. Entries reflect personal experience, observation, and opinion at the time they were written. They're offered for their own sake — not as advice, and not as a promise of completeness or accuracy. Details can be wrong, outdated, or simply seen differently in hindsight.
Changes over time. Entries, pages, and this site's structure may be edited, corrected, expanded, or removed at any time, without notice, as the notebook itself keeps changing.
External links. Some entries link to other websites. Those sites are outside our control, and linking to them isn't an endorsement of everything on them. We're not responsible for their content or their availability.
Acceptable use. Use of this site should be reasonable and lawful — don't attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at abusive scale, or use it to distribute anything harmful.
Questions. If anything here needs clarifying, get in touch through the Contact page.
